Our Journey
We operate by an all-volunteer certified 501 (c) 3 Organization. We believe in the "NO KILL" concept. Our efforts collaborating with the community offer education, placement, and situations the human-animal bond. Our mission and vision are to properly educate the community by promoting Co-oP advertising and community enrichment programs, understanding stereotypical "Bully Breeds", and alternatives to euthanasia. We provide a safe environment with loving human interaction to help the animals in our care.
OUR MISSION
We strive to ensure abandoned and unwanted animals live with comfort, compassion, and companionship. We accomplish this through community education, accountable pet ownership, and reducing the irresponsible pet population by implementing spay/neuter, microchipping. and adoptive programs.
We are a non-for-profit organization who solely depends on the support from the community in order to continue rescuing animals. Animals who are suffering from starvation, cruelty, neglect, and among other reasons due to no fault of their own. Our staff is extremely dedicated to this cause and work on a daily volunteer basis because we believe in speaking for the voiceless.
The resale shop is the sole provider for the rescue. We take donations of clothing and other items that we sell. All the proceeds we receive goes to the veterinarian bills, food, spay/ neuter, microchipping, and rescue up keep as well as anything else needed. No animal leaves our shelter without specific demands such as spay/neuter, microchipping. We also have home checks, and check references and referrals before each animal is placed. We offer a foster to adopt program before the actual adoption. We also offer a fostering program that allows animals to be placed with people until they find their new home and family. This programs provides a loving place for our animals to stay. It also allows us to evaluate each animal to help us place these animals in the best homes for their needs. Our foster program allows us to bring more animals into our shelter and into a save environment. The resale shop and rescue have outreach programs which help to provide community service hours. We also offer a school program to help kids in our community, as well as others we have put in place to provide for this community.
We appreciate, donations, fosters, volunteers, and drivers who help us in our mission. Without you we wouldn't be able to help all of the animals in need.
